Home emergency assistance from the Furness Building Society
In
the event of a domestic emergency you need only make one phone
call to our 24 hours a day, 365 days a year Emergency Assistance
Helpline. The Furness Building Society will pay the reasonable
cost of one visit to effect temporary repairs carried out
by a contractor authorised by them. They will also usually
pay reasonable cost of overnight accommodation for your family
if we agree that your home cannot be lived in.
Homecare services
The
Furness Building Society's free Homecare services will provide
you with accidental damage cover to your locks and keys to
the outside of your home or to safes and alarms in your home.
Homecare services also provide cover to include trees, shrubs,
plants, hedges and lawns for the cost of their replacement.
This usually includes damage such as fire, theft, malicious
people or vandals.
